symphonic concerts Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto
The Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto is one of the most distinguished orchestras in northern Italy. In the symphony concert under the direction of Marc Niemann on 8 May in Rovigo and 9 May in Padua, the orchestra will present a program that brings together very different works such as Béla Bartók's Divertimento for String Orchestra or Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 103 ("Drum-Roll") in order to make unexpected interactions between the works audible and tangible. The world-renowned pianist Jan Lisiecki will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4, providing a further counterpoint to this creative program.
